About Our Pastor

Pastor Mark Moreno was born and raised in Houston, Texas. He went to Central Missouri State University and graduated in 1998 with a B.A. in English Literature. Following his desire to enter the ministry, he then attend Concordia Seminary in St. Louis where he graduated in 2002 with a Masters of Divinity. He also graduated with a Doctorate of Ministry at Concordia Seminary in St. Louis in 2011.

Pastor Moreno has a wife and three children and have enjoyed raising the family in Florida. His wife works full time and the children are active in school, sports and Christ on Campus. Pastor Moreno was ordained and installed August 22, 2010 at Hope Lutheran Church and now spends his time guiding and growing Hope Lutheran. His duties include preaching and teaching, visitation and counseling, Christian education, and outreach into the community. He also has served as a chaplain (current rank of LCDR) in the US Navy since 2000.
